AI for SEO training: generative AI for search

Ten video lessons across three modules, estimated at four to six hours for thorough study or under two hours as a refresher. This is the clearest example in our set of training gated behind a paid product. It is not sold separately. Access requires a Yoast SEO Premium plan at 118.80 US dollars per year excluding VAT, or one of the Yoast WooCommerce SEO, Yoast SEO for Shopify or Yoast SEO AI Plus plans. That subscription does unlock the entire Yoast Academy catalogue of around a dozen courses, so the effective price per course is low if you use them. The syllabus covers what generative AI is, how it differs from everyday AI, AI's impact on search as direct answers replace link lists, wider web effects including model collapse and echo chambers, AI ethics covering hallucinations and bias and ownership, AI for keyword strategy using the Semrush integration inside Yoast Premium, and creating and editing AI content. Depth is moderate at ten lessons and three modules, with a stated four to six hour study time but a narrow scope that excludes AI visibility measurement. Currency is high on the strength of a verified 10 August 2026 update date. Instructor authority is low because no individual is named despite Yoast's organisational credibility. Practical application is mid and bound to the Yoast plugin. Value for money is the weakest here because the course cannot be bought alone and requires an ongoing subscription, partly offset by the wider catalogue it unlocks. Support is limited with quizzes but no community or live access.
