AI Accelerator

Authority Hacker · Independent practitioner

Our verdict

A credible AI operations membership from a long established brand, but it is mislabelled if you come to it expecting AI SEO. The published curriculum is Claude Code, Codex and automation, with no verifiable search module. Pricing is transparent and the annual refund window is real, which puts it ahead of most private programs here on buyer protection. The TASS closure left genuine reputational damage that a review site should surface. Sample the free Claude Code course first.

What this course actually is

Authority Hacker closed The Authority Site System to new students in December 2024 and now sells AI Accelerator, a subscription membership about applying AI and automation to an existing business. The published curriculum covers Claude Code, ChatGPT and Codex, Claude Design, vibe coding websites, an internal tool called WorkOS, and a library of reusable prompts and operators. Weekly live office hours and a private member forum are included, with a WhatsApp group on the Plus tier. Gael Breton and Mark Webster have run the brand since 2014 and publish a long running podcast. What the site does not show is a dedicated SEO or AI search module. Buyers looking for training on ranking inside ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews should treat this as adjacent rather than on target. The TASS shutdown also produced public complaints from customers who expected lifetime access and were not refunded.

Strengths and weaknesses

What it does well

  • Clear, published pricing with named tiers, which is rare in this category
  • A real refund window on annual plans, unlike several competitors that offer none
  • Genuinely current tooling focus covering Claude Code, Codex and agentic workflows
  • Live office hours plus an established community rather than a static video library
  • Substantial free material including a Claude Code course and workflow templates to sample before buying

Where it falls short

  • No verifiable SEO or AI search module. This is AI operations training, not AI SEO training
  • Monthly plans carry no refund at all, and the refund window on annual plans is only 14 days
  • Trustpilot score of 2.8 out of 5, though from only three reviews, which is too small a sample to weight heavily
  • Documented ill feeling from the TASS closure, where buyers expecting lifetime access reported no refund and were then offered a paid replacement
  • Lesson counts, total video hours and module counts are not published

How it scores, and why

Curriculum depth5

Value for money6
Support & community8
Weighted total 7.2 / 10. Weights: currency 24, curriculum 22, practical application 20, instructor authority 16, value 12, support 6. Ranks 7 of 33 on rubric score.

Currency and practical application score high because the tooling taught is genuinely at the frontier and workflow led. Curriculum depth is penalised heavily for this review site's purpose because no AI SEO or search content can be verified. Instructor authority is solid but rests mainly on self reported customer numbers. Value is mid because the Max tier at 1,000 per month has no publicly itemised inclusions. Support scores well on live office hours and an active forum.

Who teaches it

Gael Breton and Mark Webster. Co-founders of Authority Hacker, an affiliate and content marketing education brand operating since around 2014. They previously ran an agency which they state they sold in 2014, and they host the long running Authority Hacker Podcast.

Long public operating history with a podcast the company states has 500+ episodes and 3M+ downloads, and self reported figures of 15,000+ paid customers and 80,000+ email subscribers. These customer and revenue figures are company claims and are not independently audited. The podcast archive and the free course library are independently verifiable.
